About me
Naomi Klouda is a retired Alaska journalist who traveled and wrote about many parts of the state, its issues and people. She is an award-winning writer of thousands of news and magazine articles and the author of Anna's Whale, as well as the forthcoming Alaska Glacier Dictionary: Let Me Tell You a Glacier's Name. Some may remember Naomi from her days as managing editor at the Tundra Drums, which covered the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta in Alaska's subarctic, or the Anchorage Times, which folded in 1992 - her first newspaper. She also wrote and edited at the Homer Tribune, the Alaska Journal of Commerce and the Anchorage Daily News. She is retired living in Homer, Alaska with her husband, Gary.
